We've had a photovoltaic plant since 2020, installed on the roof of our winery and on part of the property. Thanks to this investment, we now generate and use clean energy in much of our production process, which has significantly reduced our reliance on non-renewable energy sources.

Our air conditioning systems are zoned, allowing us to control temperature in specific areas and reduce energy waste.

In our vineyard, we promote ecosystem-friendly soil management. We manage weeds by allowing sheep to graze in the vineyards, which reduces the need to use chemicals and machinery. This type of farming is very beneficial for the environment, allows us to grow high quality grapes, and promotes biodiversity and soil health.

At Casas del Toqui, we reuse a significant portion of the organic waste generated in the wine-making process to obtain various products, such as fertilizers. And send other types of waste to large recycling companies.

In order to promote efficient water and energy use among our employees, we constantly provide training on best practices at work as well as techniques that they can implement  at home.

As a result of our commitment to constantly improving, we have implemented an annual training plan addressing various interests and needs identified by department heads.

Many of our employees live in Totihue, near  our vineyards. We are committed to creating job opportunities and being active in the local community.
